R2 billion SA’s Jet Deal Cancelled

The South African Defense miniter Mapisa Nqacula has announced that the procurement for the R2 billion jet to transport the South African president Jacob Zuma as well as other planes for VIPs has been cancelled. Mapisa Ncacula was briefing the media in Pretoria, South Africa.
The former South Africa’s minister Lindiwe Sisulu suspended the procurement earlier this month claiming that the new defense minister must review the deal.
The minister says that she met with the company which was expected to provide the country with the aircracts to tell it that the deal has been cancelled. Mapisa Nqacula says that this whole process will be re looked at and all stake holders will be taken into an account.
